CSAV NORASIA Announces Upgrade For MTP Service
Hong Kong, March 22nd, 2006 - CSAV NORASIA today announced a vessel upgrade
to its Mid-China Transpacific (MTP) service. The service, which connects
central China and Korea to the west coast of the United States, is operated
in partnership with Wan Hai.
With effect from M/V Wan Hai 312, departing Ningbo on March 23rd, Wan
Hai will upgrade its existing three vessels on the service. The upgrade
to the service will be completed by May 2006.
The new vessels, which will have service speeds of around 22 knots, will
allow CSAV NORASIA to offer better transit times, improved service reliability,
and further options for customers on this important trade route. CSAV
NORASIA provides one ship on this service, with similar speed performance.
