Norasia Increases Capacity on ABS Service
Hong Kong, January 10th, 2006Norasia, a member of the CSAV Group, today announced that it would be increasing the average capacity of the vessels on its Asia Black Sea (ABS) service from 3,000 TEUs to 4,000 TEUs. In line with the increased capacity the speed of these vessels will also rise to 23.5 knots.
The extra capacity and speed on this service will allow Norasia to offer better transit times, improved service reliability, and further options for customers on this important trade route.
The ABS links ports in Asia to the Black Sea and East Mediterranean. Norasia provides 6 of the 7 vessels on this service. Port rotation is now as follows:

The first ship with the increased capacity on this service will be the Norasia Bellatrix, sailing on 17th February from Shanghai. The rest of the increased capacity will be phased in by April 2006.
