CSAV NORASIA Expands RTW Service into North China
and Korea
Hong Kong, July 18th 2006CSAV NORASIA today announced that it is
enhancing the port rotation on its westbound Round-The-World (RTW) service.
With immediate effect it now offers access to Busan in Korea and Xingang
and Qingdao in northern China to the service.
This allows customers to connect these important areas to the Middle
East and Indian Sub Continent and complements CSAV NORASIAs Asia/Middle
East-ISC products.
In addition, customers in the east and west coasts of the United States
now have direct connections to Korea and northern China, giving them extra
flexibility with this service.
CSAV NORASIA operates 10 of the 13 ships on this westbound service, with
Goldstar Line operating 3. Port rotation is as follows:

The first sailing on this new rotation from Busan will be the Bengal
Sea, departing on July 18th. The 13 ships on the service will have an
average capacity of 3,000 TEUs and service speed of 21.5 knots.
The addition of ports to the RTW service finalizes the upgrade of the
Intra Asia product, adding to CSAV NORASIAs SuperGalex service,
which offers a range of complementary ports to the RTW service, meaning
that access from North Asia and China to the Indian Sub Continent and
the Middle East is now widely available.
