Maiden voyage Norasia Engaldina (22/AUG/02)

Amidst fanfare, Norasia Engaldina made her maiden call at Chiwan on China’ s southern coast. Norasia’s key customers besides representatives of MOC, Chiwan Container Terminal and port authorities welcomed the vessel as it made its first call to this port city.

Norasia Engaldina is part of the Supergalex service calling on Shanghai/Qingdao/ Xinggang/ Busan/ Chiwan/ Singapore/ PortKlang/ Nhavasheva/ Jebelali/ Khorfakkan/ Karachi/ Nhavasheva / PortKlang/ Singapore/ Hong Kong/ Shanghai

Norasia was the first main line carrier to call at this port in September 1995. A fact that was recognized with pride by CCT during its presentation.

The 2,824-teu ship with a speed of 24.0 knots is a modern vessel made at the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.
