CSAV NORASIA Announces Port Changes For ABS Service

CSAV NORASIA has today announced that it is introducing a direct call at Xiamen, which is showing strong growth in demand from customers, on its Asia Black Sea (ABS) service, with calls in Keelung and Jeddah westbound removed.

As previously announced, the ABS service will be independently operated by CSAV NORASIA from late June. This operational independence will allow the ABS to respond to the needs of its customers and react to changes in the market when necessary.

From late June CSAV NORASIA will deploy all eight vessels on the service, which operates with ships of average capacity of 4,200 TEUs and speed of 22.5 knots. Port rotation will be as follows:

Port Rotation

Xingang/Qingdao/Shanghai/Ningbo/Xiamen/Chiwan/Port Klang/
Port Said/Constanza/Odessa/Istanbul/Port Said/Jeddah/Colombo/
Port Klang/Chiwan/Xingang

The last ABS vessel to call Keelung will be the Mare Phoenicium, Voy 723, ETA Keelung 12th June. Following the changes, Keelung will be served by a dedicated feeder service. The first ABS vessel to call Xiamen will be the Norasia Hamburg, Voy 725, ETA June 26th.
